As was recently announced, she's also been chatting with Broadway producers about starring in future stage projects. So yes, expect to see Oprah Winfrey in something sometime soon, whether on stage, or on screen - and I'm not talking about another talk show - now that, as she says, she now has more flexibility, given that she no longer hosts her previous hit talk show. Although, I figured she'd be buried in building her new network OWN, and wouldn't have any time at all for anything else... certainly not right now, given that the network is struggling in its inaugural year.

In sync with its DVD release today, November 11, acclaimed documentary A Good Man, which follows renowned director/choreographer Bill T. Jones (FELA!) as he and his company develop an original dance-theater piece in honor of Abraham Lincoln’s Bicentennial, will make its TV debut tonight, on your local PBS stations, at 9PM EST.

I've always thought that Gayle King was one of the luckiest persons on the planet.. Someone with no real discernible talent who's rich and famous and who has had a couple of TV shows, and one currently on the Oprah Winfrey Network, only because she's someone's friend. That friend of course being the Big O.

Coming off his run for several seasons on CBS' CSI, Laurence Fishbrune and his production comepany Cinema Gypsy Productions have signed a two year, first look deal with Fox Televsion Studios to develop and produce TV shows for cable networks.

The man who sends the ladies hearts a-flutter, Idris Elba, is reportedly now in deep discussions to join the cast of director Kathryn Bigelow's yet unititled action thriller about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden for Sony Pictures. He would co-star in the film along with possibility of Tom Hardy and Guy Pearce who are both also in negotiations to star in the film.
