If you blink, you'll miss Michael Ealy. And even though I'm not the biggest fan of the franchise, I'd be remiss if I didn't give some recognition to Kevin Grevioux who's been involved with every film in the 4-film series (thus far), as a writer and/or actor. He actually created the original concept/premise and wrote the first screenplay with director Len Wiseman, which launched the franchise.

As Homer Simpson would say D'oh! I don't know how I missed these 2 titles when I went over the main slate of the 2011 New York Film Festival, which was announced earlier today (you can read that post HERE). In it, I highlighted Steve McQueen's sophomore effort, Shame, and Aki Kaurismäki's Le Havre.

Maybe this is in response to all those who've questioned her *hardness* since it was announced that she would play Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises? But seriously, she's not all that bad. She sounds harder than Will Smith who's reportedly planning a comeback album by the way :)

Here's a fun video blog I stumbled upon, courtesy of Africasacountry.com, titled What's Up Africa!. Created by lawyer-turned-broadcaster Ikenna Azuike and produced in the Netherlands, the aim of the show is "to offer people a fresh and original perspective on news in Africa (with a little fun thrown in too)."
