Nick Cannon Added To The Cast Of NBC Comedy Series "Up All Night"

You'd think Nick Cannon would want to slow down since his plate seems full after becoming a father of twins and hosting the popular NBC show America's Got Talented...but he's not. He's on a roll! He's just been cast in the new NBC comedy series Up All Night.

We've sure have some very knowledge people who read Shadow And Act. When I saw that Tambay posted an item about the Steve McQueen/Chiwetel Ejiofor film project 12 Years A Slave, based on the autobiography by Solomon Northrup, a free black man in New York who was kidnapped and forced to work as a slave in the South, it immediately brought to mind Solomon Northrup's Oddessy.

It debuted on Sunday night on Fox. I didn't catch it, although my Twitter and Facebook feeds were full of conversation about it. I couldn't quite gauge overall reactions to it, and I haven't heard much conversation about it since Sunday night, so I'm guessing its taste didn't linger, giving folks something to talk about around office water-coolers, real and virtual...?
