So it's pretty much just Piranha 3D, except with sharks? And I hope I don't have to explain what the "brotha rule" in horror movies is. Shark Night 3D bows in theaters in September.

Billy Brown Joins Cast Of "Dexter" In Recurring Role As No-Nonsense Homicide Detective

Billy Brown has landed a recurring role as a homicide detective on the hit Showtime drama Dexter; specifically, Brown, whose credits include mostly TV work, most recently, his role as “Death Row” Reynolds, on FX’s boxing drama Lights Out, will play Mike Cutler, a "no-nonsense Chicago homicide detective who transfers to Miami Metro, where he immediately ruffles some feathers."

She's best known for her role in Hallelujah, Baby!, a 1967 Broadway musical that won the Tony Award for best musical.

We first alerted you all to this film, titled The Dead, in April, last year; at the time, its future was uncertain. A month or so later, it screened at the Cannes Film Market to overwhelmingly positive audience responses, and managed its way to some distribution opportunities; although, as of this post, it hasn't played outside of the film festival circuit - at least nothing indicates otherwise.

This is the first time I'm hearing about this film; titled Hip Hop: The Furious Force of Rhymes, the feature-length documentary will air next month on the Smithsonian Channel. I didn't even realize there was a Smithsonian Channel. Learn something new everyday!
