The CW network is said to bein final negotiations to acquire an upcoming Canadian soap opera titled The L.A. Complex (6 episodes already produced, and maybe an additional 7 later), which has drawn comparisons to another soap opera, Melrose Place, - essentially, a show revolving around the lives of a group of 20-somethings living in the same LA apartment complex, each chasing Hollywood dreams.
