As announced a year or so ago, the pint-sized Senegalese hero Kirikou is returning for yet another animated adventure titled Kirikou et les hommes et les femmes (Kirikou And The Men And Women) - this, however, will be the first film in the franchise to be produced in stereoscopic 3D, a format French director Michel Ocelot used for the first time on Tales of the Night (2011).

I was anticipating these numbers when I asked you folks what you thought of the movie (Steel Magnolias), in an entry posted earlier today. And despite what seems to be a general disappointment in the movie (based on comments on this site, as well as on Facebook and Twitter), many did tune in to watch - 6.5 million total average, and the 3th most-watched Lifetime telecast ever!

TV One is planting its flag in the docu-series land of TV broadcasts. As announced last week, it's adding Celebrity Crime Files to its lineup - a new original investigative series premiering Monday, October 15 (10 pm ET), that will delve into what it calls some of the most controversial crimes of our generation - specifically, the rise and fall of the entertainment, sports and literary world's most prominent and promising figures.
