First Look Footage At Andrea Arnold's "Wuthering Heights" Adaptation w/ 1st Black Heathcliff

It's about to make its world premiere at the 2011 Venice Film Festival, next week - Andrea Arnold's adaptation of Emily Brontë's classic and only novel, Wuthering Heights, which features the first black Heathcliff in the many times the literary work has been adapted for both the big and small screens, played in this case by a young British actor by the name of James Howson.

Actually this news about Stacey Dash being dropped from the show came out two weeks ago, but since neither the producers of the show or VH1 confirmed it, it had to be considered but a rumor. Alas it is a rumor no more, because, last night it was definitely confirmed that she would not be returning to the show next season.

I happened upon this short film, Letters To A Father, co-written by Angi Bones and George Pierre, and directed by Bones, and I wondered why I hadn't heard of it sooner. It was released earlier this year, so pardon my tardiness if you've already seen it.
