Cannes 2012 - Chadian Mahamat Saleh-Haroun Will Shoot Next Film "Gris-Gris" This Fall

I recently read a lengthy interview with acclaimed Chadian filmmaker Mahamat Saleh-Haroun with Black Camera film journal, in which he vowed never to return to FESPACO, continental Africa's largest and most prominent film festival, given the festival's "organizational problems" (a much longer explanation is due, but I'm saving that for a later post).

With his next starring project, Lee Daniels' The Paperboy, making its world premiere at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, Brit actor David Oyelowo (who we recently interviewed HERE) will star in the Channel 4 (UK) drama titled Complicit.

Terrence Howard and Jennifer Hudson are 2 members of an ensemble cast dramedy titled Lullaby; they'll be joined by Garrett Hedlund, Amy Adams, Richard Jenkins, and Jessica Brown Findlay in a project that Radiant Films is shopping to foreign buyers at the Marche du Film in Cannes.
