In one week the internets will be abuzz with who was nominated for the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards.   I’m positive that many fans and critics alike will be disappointed as to what shows and actors did not make the cut when old Emmy favorites (see: Tina Fey) and political/heavily campaigned ones did. In anticipation of the backlash, I’ve compiled a This Week in Black Television list of who should be up for a nomination in most of the major categories with this year and who I think will win.  These are naturally just my opinions, but if I may say some damned good ones.

Well... one of the listed stars is a black actress - Enisha Brewster (that's her in the still from the series above) who had a supporting role in the recent Footloose remake. She's also done some TV work in Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill and Meet The Browns.

Yeah, so, we already know about the feature film, and the fact that Sony Pictures will be releasing it next summer, and I'm sure a lot of you have already started counting down the days leading up to its eventual release; but would you be just as interested in a novelized version of After Earth?

Arlen Escarpeta To Star In Found Footage Tornado Project

Belizean actor Arlen Escarpeta, best known for his roles in the films like Friday the 13th (the recent remake), and Final Destination 5, will star alongside Jeremy Sumpter, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Nathan Kress, in what is being a found-footage tornado project for New Line Cinema that was once titled Category 6, but is currently untitled.

Now here's an intriguing film project that's worth attention. The film is the just completed feature thriller, Feathered Dreams, which represents the first joint venture between the Nigerian and Ukrainian filmmakers.
