Ok so actually, make that 8 "black films" opening in USA theaters this month alone; that HAS to be a record! I'm researching, but it takes time, having to go back each month over the last few decades; If there has been a month with more than 8 "black films" opening in USA theaters, I'd guess it would probably be a month in the early 1990s, or the early-to-mid 70s.

Alright, look... am I the only one who gets annoyed when someone encourages me to go see a movie because "it'll make you think," or when it's suggested that I should "leave my brain at the door," before entering the theatre to see a particular movie?
