Riri? Really? So, according to this DailyMail.co.uk article, R&B/Pop songstress Rihanna and Jennifer Hudson are on the shortlist to portray Whitney Houston on the film biopic we've been talking about here a lot lately. We last posted about Meagan Good expressing her desire to play the late icon. Good's name however was nowhere among the actresses/singers being considered. Apparently Clive Davis wants to get the ball rolling and begin filming soon; he wants the script finalized pronto.

Well another Tyler Perry movie is out and and there will be, of course,  his usual supporters and naysayers arguing over the merits or lack thereof of his movies (And for the record let me say that I think he's a bad filmmaker. But I think Michael Bay is too, but no one will jump on me for saying that.) Yet I can't think of another filmmaker who creates more talk or controversy than TP.

Edi Gathegi has signed up to co-star opposite Kyle Bornheimer in ABC’s comedy pilot called WHITE MAN VAN, which centers on Jack (Bornheimer) "who is forced to put his dreams on hold in order to take over the family handyman business from his father Tony" (played by J.K. Simmons).
