A film I first alerted you all to back in May of 2011, here's a recap... Released in Paris in April 2011, with no word at the time on whether it'll travel (though it screened in Martinique as well), is Mariette Monpierre's Le bonheur d'Elza (which I believe translates to English as Elza's Happiness, although, you French speakers out there can correct me if I'm wrong); although the NYAFF festival schedule just calls it Elza.

It premiered at the Urbanworld Film Festival last fall (when we first profiled it), and will have its theatrical premiere on April 13th in select markets - specifically, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, D.C., Los Angeles, New Jersey and New York. And I've now got the exact theaters in those cities the film will play in.

Following the well-publicized tragic death of her mother Whitney Houston, and its aftermath, 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina has reportedly been offered a part in the upcoming season of Tyler Perry’s TBS sitcom, For Better Or Worse, which stars Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White - based on the characters from Perry's Why Did I Get Married franchise of flicks.
