Martin/Marvin Gaye biopic just might be getting their wish! It's been a long journey for the various Marvin Gaye projects that we've been following since this site was created almost 4 years ago.Our last Marvin Gaye biopic entry was in December when it was reported that Marvin Gaye's son (Marvin Gaye III), who's also a childhood friend of the man who had been cast to play his father, Lenny Kravitz, in Julien Temple's Sexual Healing, had asked Kravitz to "walk away from the role," adding that he was "shocked" that Lenny actually agreed to star in the project, calling it "shameful." What exactly was Marvin Gaye III's issue here? Same as many of the others. Here's what he told TMZ:

When he's not writing and directing feature films, Rza is busy being cast in TV serials, like the upcoming Fox drama pilot that'll be directed by Allen Hughes, titled Gang Related. The project follows a gang member who's sent in to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department who rises through its ranks but must balance his obligations to his crime family with an increasing sense of loyalty to his new “family” - the SFPD’s Gang Task Force. The project comes from 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine TV, is written by Chris Morgan (Fast Five), with Scott Rosenbaum serving as showrunner.

Last night's episode of The Walking Dead was probably one of it most *quiet* and one in which I'd say I felt the most sadness for the plight of its characters, focusing solely on a journey taking by Rick, his son Carl and Michonne, during which they run into a man from Rick's past.
