Classic, of course, being the operative word here. A "classic' in the sense that it's near perfect example of what would be considered the typical 1960's drive-in or neighborhood theater exploitation film.

It's not yet known what angle or who's POV they'll assume with this follow-up of sorts, so, like the first film, Game Change, it could very be all about the race run by the Republicans, and not the Democrats; so, like Game Change, Barack Obama's campaign may not at all be the focus.

Well... what can I say, other than, that it's the NAACP Image Awards. And as it happens annually, several of the selections on the list (or not on the list, but really should be) leave me utterly confused by the committee's selection process, and I hope we can get someone over there to talk to us.

The February 2012 Port Said soccer stadium (in Port Said, Egypt) massacre that saw 79+ men dead and thousands more injured, will be the subject of a new documentary feature to be directed by award-winning Egyptian filmmaker Wael Omar, via his Middle West Films production banner.

With Victoria Mahoney's impressive feature film debut, Yelling To The Sky, making its theatrical debut in New York this Friday, December 14th, an S&A interview with the director is a given; however, instead of interviewing her all over again, I thought I'd re-post this interview she gave to us in March 2011 - an interview that Stephanie handled (on the old S&A site), and did so incredibly well that I felt I couldn't have really done much better, and thus decided to instead repost it.
