Here's a short clip from Steve McQueen's much-ballyhooed 12 Years A Slave featuring star Chiwetel Ejiofor, in one of a few "flashback" sequences in the film, as a free Solomon and his family (Kelsey ScottQuvenzhané Wallis, and Cameron Zeigler) go on a little shopping trip, and, well, just watch the clip below...

Fox Searchlight will open 12 Years A Slave theatrically on October 18, in a limited roll-out and will then expand nationwide in successive weeks. 

The R-rated slave narrative, McQueen's 3rd feature, boasts an impressive cast of actors, including: Chiwetel Ejiofor (as Solomon Northup, the star of the film and whose story it tells), Michael FassbenderRuth Negga, Adepero OduyeAlfre WoodardLupita Nyong'oPaul DanoBenedict CumberbatchScoot McNairyGarret DillahuntBrad PittMichael K.     Search the to freedom, I thought this is the spirit of Solomon. He is smart, he has courage, never give up the opportunity to get free. That's kind of America spirit I think, never be negative when they are got in troubles. His legendary story was not only represented the ethos of Black , but the entire America.
