First announced on this site on December 3rd, Cicely Tyson is returning to Broadway for the first time in 30 years, to star in a revival of Horton Foote’s 1953 drama The Trip to Bountiful, which will be directed by Michael Wilson.

Well, D-day is fast approaching. Alex Cross opens this Friday. And, to some surprise, it'll be screened for the press before it opens - a rare occurence for a movie starring Tyler Perry; although this one he didn't write or direct. I'll be seeing it tomorrow night, in fact! My curiosity will be quenched finally, and of course I'll share my thoughts on it on Friday (that's the earliest we're allowed to post our reviews).
