Adult Swim announced its 2014-2015 slate that includes more than 30 new and returning TV series.
Of note is something called Mike Tyson Mysteries, which will be a new half-hour animated adult comedy series featuring a cartoon Mike Tyson who solves mysteries, aided by the Mike Tyson Mystery Team - which is made up of the Ghost of the Marquess of Queensbury, Mike’s adopted Korean daughter, and a pigeon who was once a man.
Reads like must-see TV, doesn't it? But seriously, this sounds so odd that it actually might be fascinating to watch. Time will tell.
Of course, we already told you about the network's World Star Hip Hop Project, which will be a live-action comedy pilot inspired by the energy and style of the website; and there's also Black Jesus, the Aaron McGruder half hour live-action scripted comedy series which finds Jesus living in present day Compton, CA on a daily mission to spread love and kindness throughout the neighborhood with the help of his small but loyal group of downtrodden followers.
