About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Advance Screening Of "The First Grader" In Chicago With Star Naomie Harris Present
We have profiled the UK film The First Grader several times previously on this site; it's being released theatrically in the U.S. next month.
However, if any of our readers in the Chicago area would like to see the film before its official roll-out, there will be an advance screening of it at the Gene Siskel Film Center located right in the heart of downtown Chicago, at 164 N. State on Sunday, May 15th starting at 5PM. Tickets can be purchased in advance.
And, the icing on this cake is that the lead actress, Naomie Harris, will be physically present at the screening for a Q and A afterward.

I just heard about this movie this week. I look forward to seeing it when it comes out, Naomie is one of my favourite actors to watch!
