American Black Film Festival 2011 Preview - "Sole Of A Hustla"

Sole Of A Hustla is a film competing in the "Documentary" category of the American Black Film Festival (July 6-9) this week. Directed by Adam Raney and Chad Heeter, the movie examines the essence of the word "hustle" as it follows a rising inner city businessman.

A description for the film states..."Hustla chronicles the international business efforts of homegrown Memphis 'urban entrepreneur' Checliss 'Big C' Rice, owner of the GameTime Athletics footwear and throwback jersey company."

It also follows the relationship between Big C and successful venture capitalist Bob Compton, a mentor and angel investor in his company.
