Brit Aml Ameen has joined the cast of Lee Daniels' The Butler, playing the younger version of the title character, played by Forest Whitaker.

As you'll remember in Natasha's casting close-up of the film yesterday (read it HERE), The Butler ages from his mid-teens into his 90s, so we can assume that Aml will play The Butler from his mid-teens through likely into his late 20s/30s (with the help of some makeup likely), before handing off to Whitaker who'll play the older Butler - or something like that.

Aml is 26 years old by the way.

He was last seen as a series regular on NBC's Harry's Law and also appeared in the Red Tails.

You'll recall that Vanessa interviewed him earlier this year about his career and transitioning from the UK to the Hollywood. Read the interview HERE.
