For The Love Of Movies... Can We Talk?Angela Bassett Joins Gabourey Sidibe In Gregg Araki's Indie Drama 'White Bird In A Blizzard'

Posted on her Facebook page earlier today, Angela Bassett said the following:
Filming the new Gregg Araki movie today with Gabby Sidibe, very excited!
She's obviously referring to White Bird In A Blizzard, the Gregg Araki drama that features a cast that includes Gabourey Sidibe, Shailene Woodley, Eva Green, Shiloh Fernandez, and Christopher Meloni.
Based on the novel of the same name by Laura Kasischke, the indie drama tells the story of a troubled young woman (played by Woodley) whose life is upended following the mysterious disappearance of her mother.
Katrina Connor, Araki (Kaboom, Mysterious Skin) will produce the feature, with collaborators Pascal Caucheteux and Sebastien Lemercier of Why Not Productions.
No word yet on what role exactly Bassett and Sidibe play.

I bet Howard Stern is looking stupid because he said that Gabourey Sidibe would not be able to get work in Hollywood because of how she looks but she have proved him wrong. Not only she was nominated for an Oscar for Precious, which was her first movie. She also starred in a hit TV show The Bic C and have done three movies after Precious. And her weight loss looks great.
