Anika Noni Rose Joins Cast Of Coming-Of-Age Drama "As Cool As I Am"

Anika Noni Rose will co-star alongside Claire Danes and James Marsden in the film adaptation of the Pete Fromm coming-of-age novel, titled, As Cool As I Am, with Max Mayer directing.

The book, and eventual film, will center on "the teen daughter of self-centered parents (Danes and Marsden) who married too young and never had a chance to grow up themselves."

No word on what role Rose will play, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

Production has reportedly begun in New Mexico.
