About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Anthony Mackie Dishes On His Character In Heist Flick "Man On A Ledge"
Until today, I've had really no idea what Anthony Mackie's role in the entire story is (except that he's a cop, given the image above released in December), and just how much he's involved; he could be on screen for 5 minutes, or 25; I don't know.
He was just about absent from the film's first trailer (posted back in September). We see more of him in this one still image than we did in the entire 3-minute trailer.
Come on Summit Entertainment marketing department; give the man some shine.
In the below 4-minute profile, Mr Mackie himself tells us about his character, named Mike Ackerman, cop.

If he's not in the trailer he is not important to the story. Just another thankless role for Mackie.
