Belizean actor Arlen Escarpeta, best known for his roles in the films like Friday the 13th (the recent remake), and Final Destination 5, will star alongside Jeremy Sumpter, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Nathan Kress, in what is being a found-footage tornado project for New Line Cinema that was once titled Category 6, but is currently untitled.

The script, penned by Simon Beaufoy (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire)will be directed by Steven Quale (he directed Final Destination 5), and centers on high school students who try to survive a Category 6 tornado, using their amateur video cameras and cellphones to record their experiences.

Shooting is scheduled to start on July 23 in Michigan.
