Arlen Escarpeta To Star In Found Footage Tornado Project

Belizean actor Arlen Escarpeta, best known for his roles in the films like Friday the 13th (the recent remake), and Final Destination 5, will star alongside Jeremy Sumpter, Alycia Debnam-Carey and Nathan Kress, in what is being a found-footage tornado project for New Line Cinema that was once titled Category 6, but is currently untitled. 

The script, penned by Simon Beaufoy (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire)will be directed by Steven Quale (he directed Final Destination 5), and centers on high school students who try to survive a Category 6 tornado, using their amateur video cameras and cellphones to record their experiences.

Shooting is scheduled to start on July 23 in Michigan.
