About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ..."Attack The Block" (The British "Aliens Attack Da Hood" Movie) Finally Get's USA Theatrical Date!
I don't think this movie needs much of an intro around here. We've written and talked about it enough times. But if you're just joining us, and you've never heard of it, I'd recommend you search the current (and old) site for previous posts on it.
The rest of you will be glad to know that the British "Aliens Attack Da Hood" project, as I like to call it, aka Attack The Block, finally has a stateside theatrical release date!
Box Office Mojo (via The Playlist) lists Sony's scheduled USA theatrical opening for July 29th; not a long wait at all! From all I've read, it's perfect summer fare.
I'm rushing out at the moment, so I'll end this post here, and maybe pick it up later. But now you know!
