Audra McDonald

Audra McDonald will guest-star on an upcoming season 4 episode of CBS' The Good Wife.

McDonald will play Alicia's (Julianna Margulies) "nemesis" from their days at Georgetown law school, with the two rivals going toe to toe in the courtroom.

THR says that while McDonald has only booked one episode thus far, there's the possibility that she might return for other episodes.

She joins a short list of other black actresses who've been featured in the hit CBS series: Anika Noni Rose and Nicole Beharie.

In addition to The Good Wife, as already announced, Ms McDonald will return as Dr. Naomi Bennett in the series finale of Private Practice next week.

The Good Wife airs 9 pm, Sundays on CBS.

Glad to hear that actress of Private Practice on ABC who left the series sometime ago. Now will be on CBS's Good Wife. Even though it's an episode and she's not a regular character yet,it will be nice to see her on television again.
The other actress who have appeared on "The Good Wife" actress Anika Noni Rose and Nicole Beharie who I have seen on the show where at a time were characters. Just a week ago saw actress Anika Noni Rose reprising her role. But that doesn't take away how really good this show is and would be interesting if possible that the show would bring another character into the mix to give it something different. With how the plot and the story line right now on the show. It would bring a sort of new element into the show.
