  I like that they put it in both Laemmle Santa Monica AND Rave Baldwin Hills. All the black independents seem to be in far away AMC theaters in LA county, not even central LA, but on the edges of LA and NOBODY ever comes to the hood with their black independent films, so I'm happy to see this and I will happily be there.

  this clip and a million other scenes in the movie were absolutely stunning. the cinematography and the soundtrack were great. but i must say, i would have appreciated a stronger plot. the pieces never seemed to come together at the end. perhaps i missed something.
