Bernie Mac Documentary To Premiere On Comedy Central

Filmmaker Robert Smalls' documentary "I Ain't Scared Of You" about the life and  times and career of the late great comedian Bernie Mac will make its nationwide premiere on the Comedy Central cable channel in February.

However our Chicago readers will be able to catch an advance preview of the film when it gets a special advance preview screening at the Showplace ICON Theaters on January 19. Many of Mac's family members and celebrites who worked with the Great One will be in attendence.

    I love Bernie Mac. He is truly one of the kings of comedy. He left us way to soon. He will be missed. His comedic antics reminded me of my father.

    I watched The Bernie Mac show until I was blue in the face and I would watch reruns of the rerun and never get tired of what I saw. I miss him a lot as an entertainer and a comedian.
