It seems as that the enthusiastic response to BET's dramedy web series, 8 Days A Week, has gotten the show an upgrade. BET plans to move the series from the World Wide Net to Network Television, with a plush spot after their popular music video countdown show, 106 & Park. Follow the happy trail to find out more...

8 days a Week, follows a group of Hollywood hopefuls as they navigate the L.A scene with dreams of hitting it big. The series stars Skye Townsend and actor/rapper Justin “Irocc” Williams. Currently, you can view the series online at BET.com

Speaking of BET, they released an official statement in regards to the show's move from web to television:

“We’re thrilled to bring our hit web series 8 Days a Week from BET.com to BET,” said Loretha Jones, President of Original Programming at BET Networks. “We think the younger members of our on air audience will connect with this storyline as it reflects the hopes and dreams of young people in the music and entertainment industry.”

So what does this tell us...that dreams really do come true? A web series can get wider distribution and attention if people WATCH, whether it has a behemoth like Viacom behind it or an up and coming filmmaker like Issa Rae.

I literally just watched an episode of it, because I heard Skye Townsend was in it. I love Skye Townsend, so I will automatically watch and support anything she's doing. But it was really good! Not only was Skye Townsend good, the whole cast was good! And I will definitely be looking forward to seeing my girl Skye Townsend on TV!

i watched a couple of webisodes and it wasn't bad. the acting was a lil' blah and the storylines could use some attention but overall, it was pretty good.
    congrats to them!

I watched it a few times never got into it. I did really like Buppies though wish they would have picked that up.
