Black Women Film Festival Kicks Off June 14 w/ Julie Dash & 'Daughters Of The Dust'

Julie Dash's classic Daughters of the Dust turns 21 this year.

The Black Women Film Network kicks off its Black Women Film Festival by celebrating this groundbreaking film. The original print will be shown at Landmark Midtown Art Cinema, 931 Monroe Drive, Atlanta, June 14 at 7pm.

And by the way, Julie Dash herself will be present for the screening, and will be introduced by Dr. Ayoka Chenzira. A Q&A session will follow.
