I'm sure everyone has heard the sad news by now... RIP Donna Summer.

ATLANTA, May 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Bounce TV (http://www.bouncetv.com), the nation's first and only broadcast television network for African Americans, will pay tribute to the legendary Donna Summer with "Bounce TV Remembers Donna Summer," featuring an episode of Soul Train and her film Thank God It's Friday this Friday, May 18 beginning at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.

"Bounce TV Remembers Donna Summer" will feature her memorable Soul Train episode from 1976 in which she performs "Winter Melody" and "Spring Affair," as well as her role in the classic disco film Thank God It's Friday, which features the songs "Love to Love You Baby," "Try with Your Love," "Je T'aime," and "Last Dance."

    Man, I was born in the wrong era. What I would give to be a young adult in the late seventies, going to discos and dancing to that music. Ahhh, enchantment is definitely the word to use UrbanA. RIP Ms. Summer.

    When i stop,look and listen to her, i'm reminded of those marshmellow summers of 1975/76, what a enchantment this woman songs brought me, RIP, siren;-)

    I remember watching "Thank God It's Friday" a couple of years back when it aired on TCM's Underground. Definitely a cheesy movie but definitely ripe for a remake.... So sad to see her gone...
