Some quickie casting bits you should know about...

First, Thom Barry ("Cold Case") has joined the cast of TNT’s drama series "Perception" in a recurring role, playing a Special Agent In Charge William Parsons, who's in charge of the Chicago FBI office and series star Rachel Leigh Cook's boss, who is described as skeptical and no-nonsense.

Second, Ashley Walters has joined the cast of Jim Gillespie's kidnapping thriller "Take Down,"  which stars Jeremy Sumpter, Ed Westwick, Phoebe Tonkin, Sebastian Koch, Dominic Sherwood, Julia Ragnarsson, Max Deacon and Elliot Knight, and focuses on the reckless sons and daughters of international billionaires, who've been sent by their frustrated parents to an exclusive tough-love boot camp to be taught basic survival skills in the hopes it will teach them to take responsibility for their lives. But while there, they are taken hostage and held for ransom, thus forcing them to utilize their brief training to survive.

And finally, Daniel Kaluuya has signed on to co-star in Denis Villenueve's "Sicario," joining Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt and Josh Brolin in the drug war film, set against the backdrop of the border wars between the cartels in Mexico and the Americans trying to stem the violence from creeping over the border. Kaluuya will play FBI agent Reggie Wayne, who'll be partnered with Blunt's character.
