Official submissions are now open for feature films from filmmakers of color to participate in this November's Project Catalyst Cinema Celebration, which takes place in NYC, Chicago and Los Angeles. Submissions for short films are also open for inclusion in the Project Catalyst app and the Film & Culture College Exhibition.

Executive produced by Spike Lee and directed by NYU grad Joseph Wladika, the Columbian production Manos Sucias will screen at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, which runs April 16 through April 27. The film just had its world premiere at the NY Colombian Film Festival at the end of March.

The Tribeca Film Festival, running April 16-27 in New York City, unveiled its lineup late last week for the 8th Annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival, which highlights feature and short independent films focusing on sports and competition, including special conversations and an ESPN 30 for 30 program.
