I honestly can't think of another black film (indie or studio or otherwise) that's set in a movie theater, so this makes filmmaker Chris Banks' just-completed indie feature, The Art Of Theatrical Ushery, rather unique.

A few weeks ago, I received a new trailer for Color Outside the Lines, an engaging documentary that gives an honest voice to the history, struggles and triumphs of African-American tattoo artists. I never posted it at Shadow and Act because, well, shit happens! Since then, the team behind the film, Artemus Jenkins [director] and Miya Bailey [artist | producer] have launched an official website for the film. For readers who missed my initial post on the film, check it out, HERE.

About 3 weeks ago, Will Packer (Rainforest Films) tweeted that the president of Sony/Screen gems (the studio releasing the film) announced that a sequel to Think Like Man was coming; obviously expectations are high for this one to announce a sequel before the first one has been released.
