Scott Mescudi, known to most of the world as rapper, singer-songwriter, producer Kid Cudi, has added 2 new roles to his fledgling acting resume: an apocalyptic indie comedy titled Goodbye World, starring Adrian Grenier, and an indie thriller titled Tacoma, with Patricia Clarkson.

New York Film Festival Adds Lee Daniels' 'The Paperboy' To 2012 Slate

The festival begins on September 28th and runs through October 14. Lee Daniels' The Paperboy is scheduled to open in limited release on October 5. So those attending the New York Film Festival will probably get to see The Paperboy a few days before its official opening (I'm sure one of the cities it'll open in is NYC).
