Doha Film Institute Announces 27 Projects To Receive Funding (Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia Repped)

The Doha Film Institute has revealed the 27 projects that will receive grants, as part of its autumn funding session; and there's a strong North African presence amongst the selected - from both emerging and established filmmakers from Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.

From multi-media development, production and distribution studio RadioactiveGiant, comes a project titled Killing Winston Jones - a feature film starring Richard Dreyfuss and Danny Glover, and directed by actor/director Joel David Moore (this will be his second feature film directorial effort; in 2007, he helmed a thriller titled Spiral, which was well-received, and won some awards on the festival circuit).
