Film Independent Co-Presidents Sean Mc Manus and Josh Welsh jointly announced today that this year’s 2013 Spirit Award nominees will be presented by an actress whose name has been in the news quite a lot lately - Zoe Saldana - who'll be joined by Common and Anna Kendrick.

Senegalese director Alain Gomis' 3rd feature film titled Tey (previously titled Aujourd'hui, or Today in English), made its world premiere in competition at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival, and has continued to tour the international film festival circuit since then (February).
