Shooting officially began today in Cape Town, South Africa, on the Forest Whitaker/Orlando Bloom crime drama Zulu, which is based on French author Caryl Férey’s award winning crime novel of the same name.

Before we see her as Broomhilda in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, Kerry Washington will appear with Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks, Laura Linney, Anna Friel and Dennis Haysbert in a dark comedy titled The Details - like Django, also a Weinstein Company property, scheduled to be released on November 2.

Last week, we found out about un under-the-radar film project currently in production titled Black Girl in Paris, based on the book by Shay Youngblood that supposedly stars Tracy Heggins from Medicine for Melancholy, LUV and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.
