R&B star Ne-Yo revealed in an interview with the British paper the Sunday Mirror that he was offered the opportunity to play Martin Luther King, Jr. in a new film, but he turned down the role because the film's producers asked him to gain 30 pounds for the role, and he wanted to focus on his music with a new album on the way.
