Summit Entertainment has moved the release date for Tyler Perry's Alex Cross up one week, from the previously announced October 26, 2012 to October 19th instead.

Warner Bros has set a release date for for Cloud Atlas - the adaptation of David Mitchell’s epic labrynth of a novel co-directed by Tom Tykwer, Lana Wachowski and Andy Wachowski, and starring Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Susan Sarandon, Keith David, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Wishaw, James D’Arcy and Zhou Xun.

In Wendy's (MsWOO's) review of John Akomrah's The Nine Muses for S&A (HERE), she compared it to "attending an opera or perhaps classical music performance," calling it both an intellectual and a visceral experience, as both images and sound "flow over you" and "seep into you," and that "you should find this a deeply moving experience."

Like I said last week, despite the criticism she got for "lowering the standards" of OWN, Oprah's interview with the Kardashians was a rating stunt and nothing that should be so horrible or shocking, since she has to do what she has to do to get people to watch OWN.
