It was previously announced that, for those of you in the USA, the Syfy channel (who picked up stateside rights to the UK series Sinbad last year), would air the 12-episode season beginning on April 12 this year.

Not too long ago, Sergio reminded us of the 1973 NBC Mystery Movie series Tenafly, which featured a black actor, James McEachin, as its lead. In his post on the experimental-for-its-time monthly program, Sergio remarked, "Maybe it's my imagination [but], compared to what we have today, there seemed to be a lot more black TV series back in the day."

The 2013 ESPYS will recognize the strength and courage Robin Roberts has displayed throughout her life and career by honoring her with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award - an award presented each year to individuals whose contributions transcend sports.
