A series I still haven't gotten around to watching yet, and which I profiled last December, is coming to its official end as the Starz network will end Spartacus after the drama series' upcoming third season.

Sorry Scandal fans, no nominations for that show at all, in any category. The main criteria is that the programs must have aired between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012, so Scandal certainly qualifies.

During a Saturday celebration, Scandal showrunner Shonda Rhimes took home 2 GLAAD Media Awards for "her contributions to LGBT visibility" - a special recognition (the Golden Gate Award), as well as the outstanding drama series award for Grey's Anatomy.

Next week Thursday, June 7 at 10 PM EST, VH1 will premiere Yo: The Story of Yo! MTV Raps, which, as the title suggests, will take audiences on a trip down memory lane, looking at the popular series which ran from 1988 to 1995 with its original Yo! MTV Raps name, then later as simply Yo! until 1999. It was the first hip-hop music show on the network.
