Salli Richardson-Whitfield is slated to co-star as an unhappy trailer park dweller in Downwardly Mobile, a Roseanne Barr NBC comedy pilot. Downwardly, co-created by Barr, John Argent and Eric Gilliland, stars Barr as a mobile home park proprietor and "surrogate mother" to her neighbors in a downward economy. John Goodman will co-star as Rose's friend named Buzz.

Bell Media announced in September that a spin-off of popular U.K. sci-fi series Primeval would be coming to Canadian television, and would be titled Primeval: New World. Now there's word that Canadian actor Adrian Holmes will appear in the series, which went into production earlier this month.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It ain't easy to start a televison network. It's painful, difficult, expensive and very bloody. The survival rate is thin and there are a lot of bodies left in its wake after all is said and done.

By now I think we all know that Danai Gurira has been cast as Michonne in AMC's hit zombie drama series The Walking Dead, and we should see a lot of her in season 3 (we hope), after her brief hooded intro towards the end of last night's season 2 finale of the show!
