As was announced in February this year, TBS ordered 35 new episodes of Tyler Perry's latest sitcom, For Better Or Worse - the ensemble comedy based on characters from his Why Did I Get Married? flicks, starring Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White.

In one week the internets will be abuzz with who was nominated for the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards.   I’m positive that many fans and critics alike will be disappointed as to what shows and actors did not make the cut when old Emmy favorites (see: Tina Fey) and political/heavily campaigned ones did. In anticipation of the backlash, I’ve compiled a This Week in Black Television list of who should be up for a nomination in most of the major categories with this year and who I think will win.  These are naturally just my opinions, but if I may say some damned good ones.

Former Executive Vice President of Tyler Perry Studios, Roger Bobb, who left the company earlier last year to start his own film production company called Bobcat Films, is making his feature film directorial debut with a project titled Raising Izzie - a film that's based on the grand-prize winning script of the 1st annual GMC Faith & Family Screenplay Competition last year, and that made its world premiered as the closing night film at the 2012 American Black Film Festival last month or so before its TV premiere GMC (Gospel Music Channel) this month.

That is being called MSNBC that is. Media reports are saying that as soon as possibly next week Microsoft and NBC will announce a deal that there will be a parting of the ways with the network buying back Microsoft's share of the website.
