  Kerry is pretty, but Judy Smith is also pretty- just in a different way. Kerry truly takes her job seriously, and it shows.

  I'm very happy for Shonda and Kerry, and the fact that it's based on a real life dynamic Black woman is awesome-ness. But I am so disappointed that I cannot get excited about this show. I finally watched Season 1 and was so underwhelmed. I can't help but compare it to the much better(imho) Damages with Glenn Close. I like Kerry but her only 2 facial expressions on Scandal are smugness and the doe-eyed quivering lip close-up. Her character has zero personality, and most of the other characters are annoying as hell. Plus I have never watched a Shonda production before; I HATE that rapid dialogue style everyone says is her hallmark. But congrats to the show anyway, aside from all that i am glad the show is a hit for them.
