S&A told you back in May that Karla Crome and Nathan McMullen would be joining the increasingly popular Channel 4 series Misfits.

Now we get to see what Crome and McMullen look like in the now-famous orange community service jumpsuits.

Misfits is scheduled to return to British TV screens later this year.  Earlier in the year, there was serious talk of a US remake (said to be shooting in New York City in 2012), but there have been very few public developments since then.

Earlier this month, Misfits made its US television debut on the cable channel Logo.

Misfits' first season will be released on region 1 (US & Canada) DVD next Tuesday, July 31.

Since Alisha got gruesomely fridged, I have lost pretty much all interest in Misfits.

One thing I continue to notice about British TV is that I rarely see any medium brown, dark brown, or black skinned black British women. Most of the black women are light brown to lighter skinned. This is more so that I see in American TV or film. I can't think of only one darker skinned black British actress: Nikki Amuka-Bird. Can anyone think of any darker-skinned British actresses you've seen in the film or TV recently?

You obviously don't watch enough TV. Google these British actresses and tell me what they look like: Zaraah Abrahams; Wunmi Mosaku; Tanya Moodie; Estella Daniels; Modupe Adeyeye; Caroline Chikezie; Jo Martin; Ony Uhiara; Bumi Mojekwu . . . just to name a few.

Well, I'm glad we've hopefully moved past all the jumbled time travel stuff. Not sure if I'm totally sold that this season is going to work (they need another girl, first off), but I'll give it a shot, definitely. Curtis and Rudy were certainly the highlights of LAST season.

I wouldn't exactly call Curtis a highlight of last season or any season for that matter. He is the least interesting of all the original cast members and ironically enough he is the one we're left with. The show hasn't been the same without Nathan although Rudy did put forth a valiant effort. I will watch but with the major cast changes it's like a brand new show so we'll have to wait and see.
