20th Century Fox has released a bunch of new pics from X-Men: First Class. The Matthew Vaughn-directed movie will be in theaters on June 1. A few of those images above and below - notably Zoe Kravitz, who barely features in the trailer. Also, none of Edi Gathegi as Darwin.
The synopsis again reads: "X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men."

@ Bridget
That's how it is n H-wood. They would rather have a trailer featuring a slew of white cast members instead of showing Black actors in the film. I find it very funny that Hollywood believes that employing their "own" draws more appeal. smh

Edi is in one of the character trailers and one of the tv spots.
But, yeah, you barely see any of Zoe's or Edi's characters in the promotional material.

Great pics!!! There is only a total of two Black people in this film. (no surprise) Zoe Kravitz & Edi Gathegi and they have very small roles. Oh well that's Hollywood for you!
