About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Chris Chalk Joins Steve McQueen’s '12 Years A Slave'
Chris Chalk has signed onto join the cast of Steve McQueen’s 12 Years A Slave.
Chalk will play Clemens Ray, a slave kidnapped along with Chiwetel Ejiofor's Solomon Northup character, and brought to the South to be sold.
Chalk has appeared in both TV and film, with parts in Homeland and the new series The Newsroom.
Chalk joins the recently-announced Michael K. Williams who also joined the cast, as announced over the weekend.
