On the heels of news that John Boyega joined the cast of the cast of Fox’s 24: Live Another Day, the next chapter in the hit franchise, Boyega's fellow Brit Colin Salmon has also joined the series, which returns to a TV screen near you on May 5thpicking up the story 4 years after the series finale, which saw Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) as a fugitive, in London (where Boyega and Salmon call home).

No word on what role exactly Boyega has signed up to play, so stay tuned. But we do know that Salmon has been cast as a General Coburn, who's described as an intelligent, powerful and fiercely loyal man.

The busy Colin Salmon (an actor who could've played James Bond in his prime) can currently be seen on the small screen in The CW's Arrow, and on the British TV series Some Girls.

On the big screen, he starred in Alfons Adetuyi's High Chicago, an under-rated drama that's been traveling the film festival circuit for the last couple of years, but has yet to receive an official release.

So we now have 2 black actors with roles in the next chapter of 24. Although no word on how meaty their roles will be. We'll find out in a few months.

As much as I loved the "Moses" character in ATB, PLEASE NO variation on Moses for JOHN BOYEGA.
