More news from Comic-Con (I'm catching up with my emails, as the weekend comes to an end)...

At a Comic-Con panel session yesterday, executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg revealed that Michael Jai White will play a character named Bronze Tiger, in upcoming episodes of the WB's action drama The Arrow, in its second season, which returns in October.

Here's what the press release states:

Michael Jai White plays Ben Turner, a claw-wielding assassin better known as Bronze Tiger, who's well known to DC Comics fans as a member of both the League of Assassins and the Suicide Squad. On Arrow, he'll form an unholy alliance with fan-favorite villain China White (played by Kelly Hu), another well-established character in the DC Comics universe.

Up next for White, he stars in the first installment of Moonstone Entertainment's Codename: Falcon, titled Favela.

That's awesome, but I just wish there were some other badass martial arts actors to cast. Can't give MJ White all the roles!

ARROW is a great superhero TV show. Many characters from the comics have shown up in the first season. I was thrilled to hear that White was joining in the second season. Diggle, played by David Ramsey, is already a fan favorite, and compliments the diversity of the show. White should be perfect as a bad guy with his genuine martial arts skills and tough guy bravado. He and Kelly Hu are gonna kill it, as far as villains go.

It's cool if people don't know. They'll learn who belongs where soon enough. ;)
